By Sean Hastings, Section Vice-Chief
Brothers,
I have confirmed with Enda Lechauhanne that their Section Visitation
will be held at Enda's Winterfest event on the weekend of January
25-27th. The actual visitation will most likely be on that Saturday.
I am calling out to you, the Council of Chiefs because I need members
for my Section Assistance Team. It is with a variety of opinions and
viewpoints that new ideas are made which is why I would like to build
a team with brothers from multiple lodges across the section. If you
are interested or you know someone in your lodge who would be
interested, please contact me at s.p.hastings@iup.edu. Thank you.
Every Lodge in NE-4B has plans to attend one or more of the ArrowCorps5 projects in the summer of 2008. Over 60 Arrowmen in our section will have an unforgettable experience in the summer of 2008! This is a testimony to the quality of leadership in each of our Lodges and their commitment to the values of our Order.
The next steps:
Staff is still needed for most projects. Squad Leaders are the essential element to the successful completion of each project. Arrowmen must be 18 before June 1, 2008 to be a Squad Leaders or 16 before June 1 to be an Assistant Squad Leader. If you are interested in being on staff, visit http://event.oa-bsa.org/ and click on the "For Staff" link to download a staff application. Squad Leaders who did not participate in the conservation track at NCLS will be asked to arrive on site early and participate in a two-day training (Shasta-Trinity project has a training scheduled for February).
For more information on ArrowCorps5 or to schedule a Lodge presentation, feel free to contact Rob Marks or Tom Price.
