Council of Chiefs E-Mail Mailing List

1.What is the CoC mailing list?
The CoC mailing list is an e-mail list that is used by the Chiefs in the Section to send out e-mail to all the other Section leaders quickly by just sending to one address.

2.Who can join the CoC mailing list?
If you are a Brother of any Lodge in the Section, you may join the list.

3.Who can send mail on the CoC mailing list?
Any person may send mail to the list. However, only messages from Chiefs, Advisers, and Section Officers will appear on the list right away. All other messages must be approved before they will appear on the list.

4.What messages are appropriate for the CoC mailing list?
Any e-mail messages that contain information that is useful to the members of the CoC are appropriate. E-mail containing profanity or links to offensive web sites are not appropriate. E-mail containing unapproved solicitations are not appropriate.

5.How do I send mail to the mailing list.
Once you are subscribed, you may send mail to the list by e-mailing "CoC@ne4b.org"

6.How much mail will I receive if I subscribe?
Many months out of the year, the CoC mailing list is not used at all. However, prior to events such as Section Gatherings, CoC's, National events, Conclave, etc... the list gets more usage.

7.How do I subscribe to the CoC mailing list?
You can subscribe by visiting this link: http://four.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/coc . Alternatively, send an e-mail to coc-request@ne4b.org with the word "subscribe" in the subject line. You will receive an e-mail with instructions. Once you are subscribed to the mailing list and are also a member of the CoC, you should also e-mail the Section Secretary, Ted Kostich, at tkostich@gmail.com, after you subscribe so that he can give you access to post directly to the list.

8.How do I unsubscribe from the CoC mailing list?
Send an e-mail to coc-request@ne4b.org with the word "unsubscribe" in the subject line, or use the above link.
