Wagion Lodge Status Update

(by Tom Price, Wagion Lodge Chief)

Well, who would have thought that 85 years after Wagion would still be here? So many of the other lodges that we have shared conclaves with in the past are no longer here and that’s sad but we like to look on the bright side and celebrate our 85th year of cheerful service. The year starts with our fellowship banquet on the 25th of February and continues into our April, June, August and October weekends. We have patches, parties and people from years past coming out to celebrate with the 2005 Quality lodge, from a great section. We are gearing up for our show at conclave and hope to see the section there for another year of Haken Walleck!

Ah'Tic Lodge Status Update

Ah'Tic Lodge has been very active since the December Section CoC. Once again we have turned our charter in on time, and qualified for National Quality Lodge. We held our winter fellowship weekend on January sixth through the eighth at Camp Mountain Run. On Friday the sixth we held an LLD, and a cracker barrel to kick of the fun. Saturday we were entertained with black powder and trapping demonstrations. That day we also got to squeeze off 20 rounds from an AR-15 assault rifle; which is currently employed by our government for the best military personnel on the planet. Our lodge continues to raise money for our new Ah’Tic winter cabin to replace the one that had been bested by a storm. So far the lodge has raised $11,000. The labor for the cabin is pure volunteer work preformed by our dedicated lodge members

Finally, we continue to fill our slots, as we prepare ourselves for an awesome conclave.

Enda Lechauhanne Status Update

(by John Michael Welsh III, Enda Lechauhanne Vice-Chief of Chapter Operations)

Enda Lechauhanne did a lot this year. Aside from the normal, we were successful in the achieving of Quality Lodge for the Lodge year of 2005. We as a lodge also on took a service project of large proportion. This was the assembling of over 21,000 promotional packets for Heritage Reservation. This took a total for three days and was including over 175 different volunteers. Winterfest went a bit different than it has in the past. It included a brotherhood ceremony with brotherhood conversion. This was a new idea to see if it could help with our aim for Quality Lodge. We also moved the lodge elections to Winterfest so that more members would be able to vote. This resulted with Bill Turkovich as Chief, Shane Glass as Vice-Chef of Communications, Craig Conaway as Vice-Chief of Program, and John Welsh III as Vice-Chief of Chapter Operations. The new lodge officer’s will be inducted at the Lodge Family Banquet on 11 March 2006.

Monaken Lodge Status Update

Brothers,

Things are going well as we begin to fill our slots for conclave. We are currently looking in to ways to obtain a higher amount of newly inducted ordeal members on our conclave contingent. We have also used a fund-raiser patch to bring our total cost of conclave per person from $41 to $27. In January we held our annual planning weekend at Seven Mountains where many goals were set. We are also proud to say that Monaken Lodge achieved Quality Lodge, and our council and all three districts achieved quality status as well.
